Bill Hinson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 1988. Bill completed a two-year residency program with the Institute in 1991, received his Master of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy degree from the Institute in 1996, and completed the Part II program in San Diego in 1995. He has been an instructor for Seattle Residency programs, as well as teaching several short-term courses throughout the country. Bill co-authored the article The Efficacy of Spinal Manipulation: A Literature Review. Scientific Physical Therapy 7(3): 1-12, 1997 (non peer review).  He has been an invited speaker at both local and national conventions. He does currently serve as the director of the COMT program for the Institute and is also on the Board of Examiners for the Institute. He did receive the Hallvard Award for Outstanding Service from the Ola Grimsby Institute (1995) – the highest award given by OGI. Bill is employed as a staff physical therapist at Providence St. Peter’s Hospital in their outpatient physical therapy department in Olympia, Washington.
